Influencing policy is not a spectator sport. You’re either on the field or watching. Most choose the latter as evidenced by the Theodore Roosevelt’s 1910 speech, “Man in the Arena”. Hunters of Maryland engage in the Halls of Annapolis. If you hunt, then imagine a gradual disappearance. Think not? Remember, Maryland is the home of the Humane Society of United States. And you can count on one hand the number of State lawmakers who actually hunt. Hunters of Maryland will safeguard the traditions of hunting.
We are a private, self-funded group of conservation-minded hunters whose ranks are open to other like-minded hunters.
