On Saturday, April 12, 2025, sportsmen from Southern Maryland hosted another Youth Turkey hunt day. Rain could not deter the 73 youth hunters or the 73 guides all of whom hunted that day on over 55 farms in Southern Maryland.
It proved to be another great day! A total of 21 birds were harvested followed by a celebratory luncheon @ Zekiah Farms3, LLC located at 5235 Bryantown Road, Waldorf, MD.
No need to remind the sportsmen's community about the importance of involving today's youth in hunting so they will reciprocate with the next generation...this is how we will keep the tradition and legacy of hunting in Maryland alive for years to come.
